Arma Underwriting provides regional insurers and brokers with access to underwriting capacity from only “A” rated or better carriers including the Lloyd’s market. We tailor our services to the unique requirements and objectives of our clients in a structured way. We deliver solutions around technical pricing, risk management or by filling the gap in insurers existing coverage limitations. We enable companies to overcome these challenges.
Arma provides capacity via a conventional facultative reinsurance model (pure capacity) and works with both, brokers and insurers on specific target accounts to retain and/or to win business where an insurer is not be able to support due to their current treaty arrangements and/or levels of expertise (collateralized capacity)
Arma operates across multiple classes of business, with local capacity we can respond quickly with technical guidance and ultimately relevant solutions to clients.

Portfolio Management
Arma will deliver leading risk management solutions and advisory services which are tied back to the utilisation of capacity and portfolio management.
By exploiting our ‘intellectual capacity’ and underwriting strengths, we can (re)underwrite and/or restructure whole portfolios or classes to improve overall performance. This can be a key strategic driver in the management of financial ratings and to assisting to balance overall corporate risk tolerance levels.
We strive to be our clients’ preferred partner in underwriting. Arma operates across multiple classes of business and can be utilized as a technical underwriting referral point of contact for our trading partners.

Value Added Services
Arma’s capabilities extend to non-insurance premium related services such as jointly developing distribution strategies for our partners, which can include front-end sales tools, product training tools, IT systems and portals.
With additional services such as development of reporting dashboards, analytics tools for aggregation/accumulation management, we can together enhance results. Measures such as these improve consistency in underwriting results over a period of time and ultimately cost savings
